SIOC PROGRAMME AUDIT

How this programme works

A practical overview of the published teaching, daily life, supervision and travel model. Exact arrangements can vary by programme and week.

01

Learning model

The provider publishes several teaching formats. Open a programme to see the exact lesson count, class size, entry level and placement process for that option.

02

Camp life

Daily life differs by destination. Each programme card separates lessons, accommodation, meals, activities and excursions so families can compare like with like.

03

Welfare and supervision

The provider publishes a structured junior, supported or independent model. SIOC reconfirms staff coverage, age rules and responsibility boundaries for the selected week.

04

Travel and documents

Airport, station and local transport arrangements are programme-specific. SIOC confirms the arrival window, named handover point, UM procedure and seasonal building before travel.

Official 2026 programme material reviewedSIOC separates published programme facts from items that must be reconfirmed for the student’s exact dates.

Classes, level placement and outcomes

The published teaching format is 20 lessons / 15 hours + activities, with Junior groups A2–B1; other levels may join adult classes. Placement, beginner start rules, timetable and any intensive or private-lesson supplement are confirmed before the course is invoiced. A short stay should be measured by speaking confidence, listening and practical language use—not by a guaranteed jump through several CEFR levels.

A realistic day and weekly rhythm

The normal pattern combines lessons with cultural visits, beach activities, team sports and half- and full-day excursions. Weather, group size, local events and specialist-provider availability can change the order of activities. The final weekly timetable is issued by the provider.

The provider publishes a structured junior, supported or independent model. SIOC reconfirms staff coverage, age rules and responsibility boundaries for the selected week.

Accommodation, rooms and meals

Published accommodation is host-family model, with full board. SIOC confirms the exact building, room occupancy, bathroom arrangement, bedding, laundry, dietary handling, night staffing and whether the student travels to class.

Activities, sport and excursions

The published activity mix includes cultural visits, beach activities, team sports and half- and full-day excursions. Some specialist sports, premium activities and weekend excursions may require a supplement, minimum stay, medical declaration or suitable swimming ability.

Supervision, permissions and safeguarding

Published supervision: structured support with age-appropriate independence. SIOC confirms age-specific permissions, curfews, sign-in/out procedures, staff presence, emergency numbers, medical escalation and the exact responsibility boundary during optional activities.

Airport, station and local transport

Published transfer position: included transfer within stated windows. Do not book an airline unaccompanied-minor service or an arrival outside the published window until SIOC has written confirmation of the receiving adult, meeting point and return handover.
