SIOC evidence programme

Real experiences, checked before publication.

Useful reviews state where, when and what was studied, what the accommodation was like, what worked, what did not and what the student would do differently. SIOC does not publish invented, anonymous marketing quotes.

How SIOC verifies a review

  1. Contact details are checked privately.
  2. The institution, route and approximate dates must be identifiable.
  3. Where necessary, SIOC may request booking or enrolment evidence.
  4. Schools do not approve or rewrite the review.
  5. Critical reviews may be published when they are factual and lawful.
  6. Personal data and sensitive details are removed before publication.
  7. Every published review will show its verification status and review date.
