The Marbella students find: The Plaza de los Naranjos in the old town — genuinely beautiful, and the bars there are not priced for tourists. The Puerto Banús marina at sunset (the boats are extraordinary, and looking is free). The beach at Cabopino, 10km east, is half the price and a fraction of the crowds. the trail in the mountains above the city — the Sierra Blanca — which most students never discover despite it being 30 minutes away.

Getting there

Airport: Málaga AGP — bus Portillo to Marbella (45 min, EUR 8) or taxi (EUR 55–70). No rail connection to Marbella — bus is the main link.

From Málaga airport to Marbella: Portillo bus (now Avanza) from the airport bus stop (outside arrivals T3) to Marbella bus station, approximately 45–55 minutes depending on traffic (EUR 8–11). Frequency: every 30–60 minutes. Taxi from Málaga airport: EUR 55–70, approximately 45 minutes. From Marbella bus station the school is 10–15 minutes on foot.

Getting around Marbella: The old town (Casco Antiguo) and Puerto Banús are 4 km apart — local buses connect them. Marbella's urban bus network covers the seafront corridor. Taxis are readily available. Most accommodation arranged by the school is within reasonable distance of the school.
