Getting there

Airport: Barajas MAD — Metro Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios then Line 10 (30 min). Bus 200 to Avenida de América (25 min). AVE from Barcelona 2h30, from Seville 2h30. From Atocha: 20 min Metro to school.

From Barajas to school: Metro Line 8 from T4 to Nuevos Ministerios, change to Line 6 or 10 (30 min total, EUR 4.50 including airport supplement). Bus 200 to Avenida de América bus station, then Metro (25 min total). Taxi from Barajas: EUR 32 fixed rate (applies to all Madrid city centre destinations — no meter).

Local transport in Madrid: A 10-trip Metro card (EUR 12.20) is the most cost-effective option. The Metro runs until 01:30 daily. Madrid is very walkable in the central areas — the school, most accommodation and the main attractions are within 30–40 minutes on foot of each other.
