De mon point de vue…

Use it for: from my point of view

De mon point de vue, le centre-ville est plus pratique.

Je dirais que…

Use it for: I would say that

Je dirais que les deux options sont intéressantes.

Helpful tip: There is rarely one “best” phrase. Choose the wording that matches your meaning, tone and situation, then practise saying it in your own voice.

Your turn

Choose À mon avis… and one other expression above. Say the same idea in two different ways. Which one would you use with a classmate, and which feels better in a more careful conversation?
