Rule

A1Fälle und Artikel
Rule
Der Kasus zeigt die Funktion des Nomens. Lernen Sie Artikel und häufige Präpositionen zusammen.

Watch out
Akkusativ und Dativ sind nicht nur Bedeutungsfragen; die Verb- oder Präpositionsverbindung entscheidet.
A2Verbposition
Rule
Im Hauptsatz steht das konjugierte Verb an Position zwei; im Nebensatz steht es meist am Ende.
Example
Heute beginnt der Kurs. / Ich weiß, dass der Kurs heute beginnt.
Watch out
Zählen Sie Satzteile, nicht einzelne Wörter, vor dem Verb.
A2Modalverben
Rule
Das Modalverb wird konjugiert; der Vollverb steht im Infinitiv am Satzende.
Example
Ich muss mich anmelden. / Ich kann später kommen.
Watch out
Im Perfekt mit Modalverb ist die Form anspruchsvoller; beginnen Sie mit klaren Hauptsätzen.
B1Trennbare Verben
Rule
Im Hauptsatz wird die Vorsilbe getrennt; im Infinitiv und Nebensatz bleibt sie beim Verb.

Ich melde mich an. / Wann fängt der Kurs an?
Watch out
Notieren Sie neue Verben immer mit ihrer Vorsilbe.
B1Perfekt
Rule
Die meisten Verben bilden das Perfekt mit haben; Bewegungs- und Zustandswechselverben häufig mit sein.
Example
Ich habe den Schlüssel verloren. / Ich bin angekommen.
Watch out
Lernen Sie das Partizip zusammen mit dem Hilfsverb.

A simple way to practise
Shadowing
Listen to or read one sentence, pause, repeat it with the same rhythm, then say it again without looking.
Substitution
Keep the grammar pattern but change the person, time, place, object or problem.
60-second speaking challenge
Try explaining one school, housing or transport problem for 60 seconds. If you get stuck, pause, rephrase and keep going.
Come back to it
Review after one day, three days and seven days. Move the easy items aside and spend your time on the ones that still need a little practice.
