SU and study abroad
SIOC decision-support summary for Danish students. SU is the authority and makes the eligibility decision.
Important distinction
SU abroad supports approved full programmes and qualifying study periods. For full programmes abroad, the programme must be approved, including through the Fast Track system or an approval process.
Standalone language schools: SU’s current guidance lists language courses arranged for foreigners among education types that cannot receive SU as a full programme abroad. SIOC therefore does not label standalone language-school courses as SU-eligible.
